Meet Avanti
Avanti Maniyar paints every bag herself, by hand, at her table in Pune. No printing, no transfers, no machines — which is why no two pieces are ever exactly alike, and why the small variations are the point rather than a flaw.
What began as painting on her own tote became Canvas by AVANTI: 32 original designs across six collections, from Warli folk borders to owls, pandas, watermelons and the occasional Platform 9¾.

Are these really hand-painted?
Yes. Every bag is painted by hand by Avanti in Pune — no printing, no transfers, no machine. That also means no two bags are ever exactly alike, and small variations are part of what you are buying.
Can I send my own design or photo?
Yes. Send a reference on WhatsApp — a photo, a pet, a character, a date, a favourite colour — and Avanti will tell you what she can paint and what it will cost before anything is made.
Do you ship outside Pune?
Yes, orders ship across India. Delivery details are confirmed on WhatsApp once your order is agreed.

There is no checkout here. Pick the design you like, message on WhatsApp, and Avanti confirms availability, price and delivery with you directly.
How much do they cost?
Prices depend on the piece and on how much painting it needs, so they are quoted on WhatsApp. Ask about any design and you will get a price before you commit to anything.
